Al Hidayah Islamic Centre – A Growing Masjid & Islamic Community Hub in Adelaide

Our Vision

Al Hidayah Islamic Centre envisions a spiritually grounded, knowledge-driven Muslim community in South Australia, nurtured through authentic Islamic education, continuous worship, and meaningful community engagement.

Our ultimate vision is to establish Adelaide’s first full-fledged Darul Ulum—a centre of advanced Islamic learning—integrated with a Masjid, Madrasha, Hifz program, and community services, under the guidance of qualified Ulama.

We aim to preserve Islamic knowledge, strengthen faith across generations, and develop future scholars, leaders, and responsible citizens who live Islam with wisdom, balance, and confidence in a modern society.

Our Mission

The mission of Al Hidayah Islamic Centre is to serve as a comprehensive Islamic hub that fulfils the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the Muslim community in Adelaide and beyond.

Our mission is achieved through:

  • Establishing a Masjid with 24-hour access, enabling continuous worship and community connection
  • Developing a structured Madrasha and Hifz program for children, youth, and adults
  • Building a Darul Ulum to provide full-time, advanced Islamic education locally
  • Preserving and transmitting authentic Islamic knowledge through qualified Ulama
  • Supporting community wellbeing through counselling, dawah, education, and welfare initiatives

Why a Darul Ulum Is a Necessity in Adelaide

Adelaide currently has no Darul Ulum—no institution offering full-time, higher Islamic education in Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, Tafsir, and advanced specialisation (Takhassus).

As a result:

  • Students must travel interstate or overseas to pursue Islamic scholarship
  • Many families are unable to support such relocation
  • The local community lacks a sustainable system to produce future Imams, teachers, and scholars

A Darul Ulum in Adelaide is not a luxury—it is a critical necessity.

It will:

  • Ensure continuity of authentic Islamic knowledge within South Australia
  • Protect future generations from misinformation and weak religious grounding
  • Provide structured Islamic education aligned with local context and challenges
  • Create local leadership rooted in sound scholarship and community understanding

By establishing a Darul Ulum at Al Hidayah Islamic Centre, we are investing in long-term intellectual, spiritual, and moral strength of the Muslim community.

Our Commitment

Al Hidayah Islamic Centre is committed to:-

  • Operating under the supervision of qualified and experienced Ulama
  • Upholding sincerity, transparency, and accountability
  • Serving the entire community with inclusivity and compassion
  • Building institutions that last beyond generations as Sadaqah Jariyah

A Shared Responsibility

The establishment of a Masjid and Darul Ulum is not the responsibility of a few—it is a collective obligation of the community.

By supporting Al Hidayah Islamic Centre, you are contributing to:

  • A house of Allah
  • A centre of the Quran and knowledge
  • The future scholars and leaders of Islam in Australia
